Once again another event has succumbed to the COVID-19 outbreak. Now BrewDog has announced their annual AGM has been cancelled for safety precautions against Coronavirus. They had only confirmed the brewery line-up earlier this week.
James Watt confirmed the cancellation on Twitter:
This follows the announcement that this year’s Hop City has also been cancelled.
There are rumours that the AGM could be rescheduled around September time, at which point the outbreak could be less severe or hopefully sustained. BrewDog is also moving towards only accepting card payments in their bars as another precaution against spreading the virus.
