After a year off for obvious reasons, Hop City is set to make a triumphant return to the beer festival scene, starting with several fringe events set to take place before and during the actual festival itself.
Kicking things off will be a London-based event at Red Hand on the 4th August, followed by a series of events on the 5th August in Leeds, including Frau Gruber Craft Brewing at Whitelock’s/Turk’s Head, Verdant at The Cross Keys, and Whiplash at The Head of Steam on Park Row. There’s also Tripping Animals Brewing at Brownhill & Co, Apex Brewing Company at Bundobust and Equilibrium Brewery at Friends of Ham.
Both Northern Monk’s Old Flax Store in Leeds and Manchester bar will also be hosting a To Øl and Åben tap takeover on the 5th August at both venues. They also have Vitamin Sea Brewing hosting on the 6th, again at their sister Manchester bar, with Other Half also visiting the Manchester Refectory on the 7th.
All fringe events are all-day events.
The actual Hop City beer festival will be taking place on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th August 2021 at Northern Monk’s Sydenham Road brewery site, which are new dates from previously announced.
We’ll be posting on our socials over all of Hop City weekend!
