The Meanwood Brewery was established in 2017 by brothers Baz and Graeme Phillips. On starting the brewery their goal was always to have their own tap room, on site. Terminus was established in 2018 and has become so much more.

Located in Huddersfield Railway Station sits The Head of Steam Huddersfield. The venue has direct entrances from Platform 1 and St. George’s Square. The Head of Steam Huddersfield has become a firm favourite with commuters and locals alike.

At Kirkstall we continue a legacy of brewing left by the Cistercian monks of Kirkstall Abbey and the Kirkstall Brewery Company of 1833-1983. Our own beginnings as Vertical Drinks, importing the likes of Sierra Nevada, Odell and Stone as early as 2003, allowed us to learn from the masters before starting our own brewery in 2011.

Located in Holbeck’s atmospheric Urban Village – reputedly the oldest set of industrial buildings in the world – we are Leeds Brewery’s flagship pub.
