Situated five minutes from Huddersfield train station is Arcade Beers, and for a bar this small I don't think I've ever encountered a beer selection as extensive. Blink and you may miss the entrance to this place! As soon as you enter you're welcomed by a wall of bottles and cans on your left and a bar on your right, serving six lines of draught goodness. Chilled beers are also on offer from the fridges. You're quite literally surrounded by beer here.
Arcade Beers also host regular events and tap takeovers, with the last one I visited by North Brewing Co. It's advisable to get tickets early for such events due to space inside, however the friendly staff happily reserved me a ticket for this event to collect on the night.
There is additional seating downstairs in the basement, but all the action is on the ground floor. You may need to fight for a table on busier days but it is worth it for the quality and selection of beer this small establishment serves. The location is especially handy if you want to cram in a few extra beers before a train home after a day in Huddersfield. I'm almost jealous this isn't my local.
